XXI Triennale di Milano 2016

The XXI International Exhibition Triennale di Milano, entitled “21st Century. Design After Design” will be held from April 2nd to September 12th 2016.
This major international exhibition returns after twenty years of absence thanks to the Italian Government’s support, the City of Milan, the Region of Lombardy, Milan Chamber of Commerce, BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) and other Institutions.
The twenty-first edition of this program revolves around exhibitions, events, festivals and conferences scattered throughout the city of Milan. The “21st Century. Design After design” does not intend to give a glance at the future, but rather to decode the millennium that begins and identify changes that carry the same project idea.
the “21st Century. After Design Design” will address key issues such as the treatment of anthropological themes (death, the sacred, eros, fate, traditions, history), gender issues, the impact of globalization on the design, the relationship between city and design, design and accessibility of new information technologies and, last but not least, design and craftsmanship.
