The Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni took part yesterday 16 June 2024 at the Summit on Peace in Ukraine held in Lucerne, Switzerland. In her speech, she highlighted how “defending Ukraine means defending that system of rules that holds the international community together and protects every nation”. “Peace”, she added, “does not mean surrender – as President Putin seems to suggest with his latest declarations”.
