Every year the Italian Foreign Ministry makes available some financial grants to promote the teaching of Italian language in foreign schools and universities.
Here are the available grants for 2025.
For schools , financial grants aimed for:
- partial funding of Italian language teachers’ salaries;
- school trips for students.
For universities, financial grants for:
- partial funding of Italian language teachers’ salaries;
- training or refresher courses for Italian language teachers.
If you are the representative of a Latvian school or university and would like to apply for these grants, write us an email and we will send you some forms to fill in: culturale.riga@esteri.it.
The deadline to submit applications is 21 March for schools and 4 April for universities.
