Every year the Italian Foreign Ministry makes available some financial grants to promote the teaching of Italian language in foreign schools and universities.
Here are the available grants for 2024.
For schools , financial grants aimed for:
- partial funding of Italian language teachers’ salaries;
- school trips for students;
- purchase of Italian language textbooks.
For universities, financial grants for:
- partial or complete funding of Italian language teachers’ salaries;
- training or refresher courses for Italian language teachers;
- purchase of Italian language textbooks.

The deadline to submit applications is 18 March 2024.
