The Festival of European Languages took place on Friday 18 September at the National Library of Latvia, an initiative organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Latvia, dedicated to enhancing the linguistic and cultural diversity that characterises Europe.
Teachers from the Italian language school “L’Italii” organized several interactive activities aimed at introducing a wide audience of young people to the knowledge of Italian, under the patronage of the Italian Embassy.
In particular, the activities at the main stand, the “Speak Dating” and karaoke offered participants the opportunity to approach the Italian language in a direct and engaging way, fostering curiosity and interest in the Italian language.
Participation in the Festival thus represented an important opportunity to promote plurilingualism and the value of the encounter between different European linguistic and cultural realities.
