Starting from October 15, 2025, the new Electronic Queue Reservation System (ERRS) will enter into force for all vehicles intending to cross the external land border of the Republic of Latvia at the following checkpoints:

How to register in the ERRS system
Registration is available through the websites: www.lvborder.lv or www.tvrobeza.lv .
To register, you must provide information about the vehicle (motorcycle, car, bus, or truck), the driver, and the cargo (if applicable).
When to register
Advance registration: up to 30 days before the planned border crossing. This allows you to choose a specific 1-hour time slot for crossing. After payment confirmation, the system assigns a queue number valid for that time slot.
Advance registration will be available starting October 1, 2025.
Last-minute registration: shortly before arriving at the checkpoint. The system will assign the first available time slot.
Registration fee
The registration fee in the electronic system is EUR 9.30 per vehicle.
With the introduction of the ERRS system in Latvia, it will be operational across all three Baltic States.
