Every year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy provides foreign schools and universities with some financial and in-kind contributions in order to promote the teaching of Italian language abroad.<\/p>\n
For the current year, the available forms of contribution are the following.<\/p>\n
For schools:
– financial contribution to partially cover Italian language teachers\u2019 salaries;
– financial contribution for scholarships\/study trips connected to Italian language teaching;
– purchase of books and\/or teaching materials for Italian language teaching;
– financial contribution to cover the expenses connected to the participations by the Italian language teachers employed by the school in training courses and refresher courses<\/p>\n
For universities:
– financial contribution to cover – either in full or partially – the salaries of the Italian language teachers employed by your university;
– financial contribution to cover the expenses connected to the participations by the Italian language teachers employed by the university in training courses and refresher courses:
– purchase of books and\/or teaching materials for Italian language teaching;<\/p>\n
Schools and universities that intend to apply for grants are required to get in contact with the Culture and Promotion Office of the Embassy of Italy in Riga via e-mail: culturale.riga@esteri.it.<\/p>\n
The deadlines for submitting applications are the following:
– for schools – March 22, 2023<\/strong>;
