{"id":4179,"date":"2025-10-17T12:29:26","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T09:29:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambriga.esteri.it\/?p=4179"},"modified":"2025-10-17T12:29:26","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T09:29:26","slug":"new-rules-for-booking-transit-at-latvian-external-borders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambriga.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2025\/10\/new-rules-for-booking-transit-at-latvian-external-borders\/","title":{"rendered":"New rules for booking transit at latvian external borders"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p data-start=\"53\" data-end=\"302\">Starting from <strong data-start=\"81\" data-end=\"101\">October 15, 2025<\/strong>, the new <strong data-start=\"111\" data-end=\"157\">Electronic Queue Reservation System (ERRS)<\/strong> will enter into force for all vehicles intending to cross the external land border of the <strong data-start=\"248\" data-end=\"270\">Republic of Latvia<\/strong> at the following checkpoints:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"344\">\n<li data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"316\">\n<p data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"316\">Greb\u0146eva<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"317\" data-end=\"329\">\n<p data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"329\">Terehova<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"330\" data-end=\"344\">\n<p data-start=\"332\" data-end=\"344\">P\u0101ternieki<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to register<\/strong> in the ERRS system<\/p>\n<p>Registration is available through the websites: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvborder.lv\/\">www.lvborder.lv <\/a>or <a href=\"https:\/\/lvrobeza.lv\/en\/\">www.tvrobeza.lv<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>To register, you must provide information about the vehicle (motorcycle, car, bus, or truck), the driver, and the cargo (if applicable).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When to register<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advance registration: <strong>up to 30 days before the planned border crossing<\/strong>. This allows you to choose a specific 1-hour time slot for crossing. After payment confirmation, the system assigns a queue number valid for that time slot.<br \/>\nAdvance registration will be available <strong>starting October 1, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Last-minute registration: shortly before arriving at the checkpoint.
