The \u201cAUTUMN EDITION 2017\u201d took place from October 24-28 and saw a rich Italian presence:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the famous Italian designer LIBORIO CAPIZZI with his brand \u201cDI LIBORIO\u201d (www.diliborio.it) already for the second time participated in RFW demonstrating his women\u2019s\/men\u2019s collection (show and interview by L\u2019Officiel Latvia: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/EOiHg_dT2kY\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/EOiHg_dT2kY<\/a>);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the prestigious fashion and design school in Milan \u201cISTITUTO MARANGONI\u201d gave a prize \u2013 a scholarship for a three-week course<br \/>(worth 4.100 euros) \u2013 to one of the Latvian designers participating to this edition \u2013 \u201cPAADE MODE\u201d;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the professor of \u201cISTITUTO MARANGONI\u201d \u2013 Mr. DAVIDE PETRAROLI \u2013 gave an open lecture in English on Italian fashion and design at the \u201cLatvian Academy of Art\u201d;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; other important Italian companies \u2013 \u201cFERRERO\u201d (official sweet of the RFW Autumn Edition), \u201cPELLINI\u201d (official coffee),<br \/>\u201cBOCELLI FAMILY WINES\u201d (official drink), \u201cTI SENTO\u201d (official jewellery) \u2013 along with the Embassy participated as partners of the event and were present with their stands at the main venue of the fashion shows;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; photo reportage of the events: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.failiem.lv\/u\/2u66xxxf\">https:\/\/www.failiem.lv\/u\/2u66xxxf<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Designer LIBORIO CAPIZZI \u201cDI LIBORIO\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Born in Ribera (Sicily), Liborio grew up in Tuscany, where he studied scenography and costumes at the Academy of Fine Arts. He has been the strictest collaborator of Gianfranco Ferr\u00e9 for sixteen years, managing the brand\u2019s pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter for women while evolving his couturier sensitivity. After that, he travelled all over the world, gathering the most disparate skills &#8211; ranging from art to scenography to costume-making &#8211; until he settled in Milan, in a loft near Porta Nuova which is his home, atelier, \u201crefugium pensatorum\u201d, source<br \/>of inspiration and \u201ccabinet de curiosit\u00e9s\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More information on the lecture and on the professor of ISTITUTO MARANGONI Mr. DAVIDE PETRAROLI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abstract of the LECTURE: \u201cACTION BRANDS\u201d (critical approach). It\u2019s a journey among the new fashion phenomena raising from the several fashion designers\u2019 approach to creativity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dGucci fights against fashion\u201d: how a historical brand overwhelms everybody dragging them towards a vintage future. Deconstruction and reuse phenomena, such as Demna Gvasalia, highlighting how Millennials survive to this new era.<\/p>\n<p>Professor DAVIDE PETRAROLI: born in Taranto, Italy, in 1979. When he was 19 years old, he moved to Milan where he attended<br \/>the four-year course of \u201cFashion Design\u201d at \u201cIstituto Marangoni\u201d. After graduation, he worked at \u201cBilancioni\u201d and \u201cKookai\u201d as Junior Designer. Since 2006, he has been working with many different \u201cMade in Italy\u201d brands, such as \u201cGiorgio Armani\u201d, \u201cGiorgio Armani Prive\u2019\u201d, \u201cJil Sander\u201d and \u201cFontana Couture Milano\u201d; this experience has given him the chance to work on all the phases of collection development: from design to production and distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Being Davide a painter too, in January 2012, he was invited to join some painting exhibitions in Belgium and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2011, he has been working as lecturer in many important international schools, teaching \u201cFashion Shows Analysis\u201d, \u201cStory of<br \/>Contemporary Fashion Collection\u201d, \u201cResearch and Design\u201d, \u201cPhotoshop and Fashion Drawing\u201d, and \u201cAccessories Collection\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Davide also runs several accessory workshops with Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese students and he has also conducted a workshop in the well-known \u201cMosshoes\u201d trade show in Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2014, he is Head Fashion Designer for the brand \u201cLucio Costa\u201d for which he also illustrated the book \u201cSo Lucio!\u201d. Since January 2015, he is a lecturer at \u201cIstituto Marangoni\u201d in Milan and a visiting lecturer at \u201cMarangoni School of Fashion and Art\u201d in Florence.
