Rossini and the \u201cRossini Opera Festival\u201d \u2013 has organized the concert Gala Rossini \u2013 Barbiere smart at the Great Guild.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right;\" src=\"resource\/img\/2018\/03\/1218_fotobrencisinbox.lv.jpg\" alt=\"1218 fotobrencisinbox.lv\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On stage, a small ensemble of the G. Rossini Symphonic Orchestra and the singers selected by the \u201cRossini Opera Festival\u201d have performed a shorter version of the Barbiere di Siviglia (in the photo, from left to right: Christian Collia, tenor; Silvia Stella, violin; Nicola Medici, oboe; Paride Battistoni, violin; Colombo Silviotti, cello; Aldo Zangheri, viola; Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, mezzo-soprano; and William Hernandez, baritone [photo by\u00a0J\u0101nis Brencis]).<\/p>\n<p>The show, dynamic and lively, had a great success among the public, also thanks to the expressiveness of the three singers and in particular of the baritone William Hernandez.<\/p>\n<p>The concert, with music by Gioachino Rossini and transcriptions by M\u00b0 Noris Borgogelli, was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the composer\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>During the reception after the concert, products and specialties from The Marche Region have been served to the guests.<\/p>\n<p>More photos of the event are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/ItalyInLatvia\/photos\/?tab=album&#038;album_id=2140735476161573\">Embassy&#8217;s page on Facebook (Italy in Latvia)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On 21st March 2018, in occasion of the \u201cWeek of The Marche Region in Riga\u201d, this Embassy \u2013 in collaboration with The Marche Region, the Symphonic Orchestra G.
